SUMMARY

Four sassy senior ladies: Beatrice, Eaddy, Imogene, and Maude need a break from bingo and macramé. They want to take a SASSY SENIORS Caribbean cruise. Unfortunately, things have not been pleasant at Magnolia Place Assisted Living since nasty nurse Pat came to work there. A MYSTERY unfolds with LAUGHTER as the gals try to outsmart her.

Throw in a senior citizen beauty pageant, an old Elvis Impersonator, a trashy makeover and a bizarre thigh exerciser incident and you have a laugh a minute evening of theater that will have your audience ROLLING IN THE AISLES and RAVING for years to come!

As the composer behind The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Aladdin, Alan Menken has created some of the most recognizable scores and songs in film history. He has won more Academy Awards than any other living composer, and we’re thrilled to pay tribute to many of his most well-known songs. We’ll try our best to feature music from all of Menken’s biggest hits, including Little Shop of Horrors, Newsies, Pocahontas, Hercules, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Enchanted & Tangled. SUMMARY

The final collaboration between Rodgers & Hammerstein was destined to become the world’s most beloved musical. Synopsis

Eight short months after one of Britain’s most appalling disasters – the catastrophe at Aberfan that left 144 people dead, 116 of them children – a group of bereaved mothers meet regularly to grieve and support each other.

At one of their meetings, they secretly invite a representative from Revlon to provide them with some beauty advice. The women are conflicted over their desire to turn their attention to their own well-being after so many months of soul-searching. It is this conflict that forms the focus of this new play charting the emotional struggles, tears and laughter of the community that a tragedy left behind.

Touching, tender, occasionally raw, this is a play that looks into the human heart of disaster – and celebrates the humanity that survives.
