Rose & the Thorns

Written by J. Robert King

Composed by Elias King

Lyrics by J. Robert King and Elias King

Directed by: Jess Smith

Genre: Musical

Synopsis:

For ten years, the rock band Rose & the Thorns dominated the charts, leading to a triple-platinum live album at Madison Square Garden. And then, they suddenly broke up. This musical begins 20 years later as the band gathers again in the garage where they started, hoping to reconcile differences and put together a reunion concert at the Garden. The band works through their set list of greatest hits, and greatest resentments. As they strive to reconnect, a revelation rocks them–and the audience–to the core. . . .
